CRITICAL THINKING

There are a number of reasons why I have changed my major from computer engineering to computer and information technology.  I believe I am more knowledgable of the software of computers rather than the hardware.  So there are a number of things I believe that can contribute to my learning that I seen in the table of contents.  Computer Basics was one I believe I need to know obviously to be successful.  Another is the Internet, it is so critical to learn different ways of retrieving information or for promotion.  The web also deals with the internet as well, can not stress that enough.  Web technology is something also I believe I would need to learn about.  And last but not least, Software Basics, I need to know the essentials of computer software in order to be successful.

On the flip side, there are things I honestly believe would be a waste of time.  Things that are not really key for my personal success but may be necessary for others.  One of them is Security Privacy, I believe I am aware of security policies.  Also Storage Devices, good to know, but not really required to be successful.  How a Micro Executes Instructions, again, good to know but just not really necessary for myself.  File Formats, I am pretty knowledgable on that subject already.  Digital Audio is interesting, but I know a good deal on that as well.
